Our Services

We offer Pool and Spa compliance inspections in accordance with the recent Building (Pools) Amendment Act 2016, which came into effect on the 1st January 2017.

  • The new independently qualified pool inspector (IQPI) regime was introduced on 1 January 2017.
  • An IQPI pool inspector has been accredited by the MBIE as a qualified pool inspector.
  • This means pool owners can now use IQPI inspectors as alternative to their local council to ensure their pool fencing complies with the new Act.
  • Every residential pool that is filled or partly filled with water must have physical barriers that restrict access to the pool by unsupervised children under five years of age.
  • Recent changes to the Building Act mean that from 1 January 2017 residential pool barriers must be inspected every three years.

The MBIE has further details here – including the definition of a residential pool and the legislation which governs our pool inspection service.
  • Pool Safe Ltd is committed to timely inspections that put our clients first, ensuring a prompt delivery of our service

  • The team are experts in their field, we know our reputation is our biggest asset along with customer service. These two objectives along with adhering to the legislation is our three main objectives.

  • We make the legislative compliance hassle free, and aim to have you engage us again for the periodic inspections knowing you can depend on our friendly and efficient service.
